 Barn Owl Primitives could be one of my favorite Etsy shops EVER. I am so excited to show all of you these unique pieces of art. I found her page on Facebook and when I clicked on her shop I couldn't get the smile off my face.
With having my three boys I feel like this should be my motto.

Barn Owl Primitives hand paints and distresses the most unique and beautiful wooden typography word art signs that will literally make your heart smile.

I've decided that I would like a sign in each room of my house. {I am so not kidding}
How perfect is this for a playroom?

I am telling you that you MUST head over to Barn Owl Primitives and start pinning/bookmarking your favorite signs. No joke. I have pinned these beautiful things on Pinterest. I have bookmarked them. Things I Love Thursday {Etsy Edition}

This week I have been on a hunt to find modern, affordable decor for the house. I was so excited when I stumbled upon the simple and lovely creations coming out of the Etsy shop known as Uncommon. What I love about this shop is the mix of modern and vintage-inspired decor.
I totally agree with shop owner, Jessie, as she describes her shop as, "your source for colorful, cleverly designed decor in the style of anthropologie and urban outfitters." Sounds like a piece of decorator heaven to me.

One of the complaints that I often hear about a 'modern home' is that it doesn't feel warm or inviting. That is where Uncommon steps in. They provide that added warmth to any home.

So, look around and get ideas for your own home. You may even be inspired to create some of these yourself! Look at this dainty, simple, adorable doily clock...

Please don't forget if you own an Etsy shop or know of some fabulous finds contact me and you may be featured on Things I Love Thursday Etsy Edition!
Happy Decorating!

Things I Love Thursday {Etsy Edition}

How has your week been going so far? This is our first full week of Summer break and lets just say I am praying that this momma finds some extra energy because I am going to need it! I hope you all are enjoying the Things I Love Thursday! I have heard from a lot of you and actually seen some of the new crafts you have tried due to these inspirational shops! You all inspire me!

This week I am featuring Heather from Chickabug. She offers personalized invitations for any event, custom invitations, stickers, water bottle labels, DIY printables, and so much more. Her stuff is AMAZING. Who doesn't love a good DIY project? What is great about Chickabug is all of the DIY printables are a professionally typeset for you and each comes with a full instruction sheet for printing. Just in case you aren't 100% sure what to do!

I used this shop for my sister's Baby Shower and ordered custom stickers to put on all of the water bottles. Everyone LOVED them and what I loved about them is that it literally took me 5 minutes to create a 'statement' piece. Have a look at some of Heather's creations...

How cute is this customized DIY printable file. It includes a cupcake wrapper and FOUR cupcake topper designs that can be cut out with a 2" craft punch.

What I love about this is your 'file' will be personalized for you and ready to use. You can print as many copies as you want, so you can make as many wraps and toppers as need. How great is that?

Look at these adorable little sock monkey Thank You cards! What a great way to make a statement and to add to the adorable sock monkey theme.

Be still my heart. How sweet is this? Look how adorable Chloe and Sophie's  Sweet Shoppe party turned out using Heather from Chickabug. At Chickabug, you can find everything you need to make your next party one that your friends and family will be talking about for years!

Go check out Heather over at her adorable blog. She has fabulous party ideas and FREE printables!

Things I Love Thursday: Etsy Edition

Things I Love Thursday: Etsy Edition is a new series where I link up with Jill from Diaper Diaries and show all of you lovelies some of the fabulous new Etsy shops I have been swooning over! This week I am so excited to show a fun shop that makes some of the cutest 'Letter Press'!

I am pretty sure they have the best name ever... 1Canoe2's. It just sounds urban and fun. They take sketch patterns and scenes from their daily life, and then convert them to woodcut or letterpress prints. Seriously, it's genius and what they create is unbelievable. I want one of everything to put in my house!

Look at these Letterpress Recipe Cards and Recipe Box.

It's no secret I am not a fan of cooking but seriously these are just adorable.
They make me want to write down recipes just because they are so dang cute!

I have always had a thing for coasters. Here at our castle I would be lying if I said we used them. If anything my boys might use them in some random game they would come up with! However, I do put them out when we have friends come over. If anything it looks really trendy and cute so why not? Look at these...

Letterpress Coasters

I LOVE them. They just make me smile.

So, go look around their shop. You wont be disappointed. Thanks to Amber who found these little treasures! Until next week my lovelies. Enjoy this fabulous day and have fun shopping at 1Canoe2. Don't forget if you own an Etsy shop or know of some fabulous finds contact me and you may be featured on Things I Love Thursday Etsy Edition!
